Very important is a road loss of third ranked Unicaja Malaga (12-5) against eleventh ranked Assignia Manresa (8-9) on Saturday night. Visiting Unicaja Malaga was defeated by Assignia Manresa in Manresa 86-68. The game was mostly controlled by Assignia Manresa. Unicaja Malaga was better in fourth quarter 21-20. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Assignia Manresa players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. Assignia Manresa moved-up to eighth place, which they share with 4 other teams. Unicaja Malaga at the other side keeps the third position with five games lost. They share it with Caja Laboral and Lucentum. Assignia Manresa will play against FIATC Joventut (#14) in Badalona in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Unicaja Malaga will play on the road against Gran Canaria 2014 (#13) in Las Palmas and hopes to get back on the winning track.
