Very predictable result when second ranked Saint-Quentin (13-4) beat at home 9th ranked Etendard de Brest (9-8) 92-84 on Saturday. The hosts were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. The best player for the winners was naturalized American guard Jimmal Ball (178-78, college: Akron, agency: ACMT) who scored 15 points, 9 assists and 4 steals. American forward Darnell Williams (200-78, college: San Jose St., agency: David Lee services) chipped in 14 points and 9 rebounds. Lithuanian forward Vaidotas Pridotkas (200-84) produced 21 points and 5 rebounds and forward Julien Doreau (200-83) added 14 points and 6 rebounds respectively for the guests. Five Saint-Quentin and four Etendard de Brest players scored in double figures. Saint-Quentin have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain second place with 13-4 record behind leader Charleville. Etendard de Brest at the other side keeps the ninth position with eight games lost.
