Anwil (#3) forced the game against PGE Turow (#2) into an overtime, but lost by five points 79-84 on Saturday night. The game took place in Wloclawek. But the guests from Zgorzelec were better at the end. The guests were tied at the half and again at the end of regular time. But they managed to win overtime period 15-10. PGE Turow made 23-of-28 free shots (82.1 percent) during the game. Anwil was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. The best player for the winners was American center John Edwards (213-81, college: Kent St.) who scored 22 points and 5 rebounds. Australian-Dutch center Daniel Kickert (208-83, college: St.Mary's, CA) chipped in 16 points and 7 rebounds.
