Regular Season Round 17: Rapla - Kalev/Cramo 65-79

An interesting game for Kalev/Cramo (11-1) which played road game in Rapla against 4th placed Rapla (8-8). Third ranked Kalev/Cramo managed to get a 14-point victory 79-65. The guests were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. International forward Joosep Toome (202-85) nailed 13 points and 8 rebounds for the winning side and the former international guard Tanel Sokk (184-85) accounted for 19 points. Power forward Raido Ringmets (206-83) came up with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds and the former international forward Andre Parn (200-77) added 9 points and 8 rebounds respectively for Rapla in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Kalev/Cramo have an impressive series of six victories in a row. Defending champion moved-up to second place. Loser Rapla keeps the fourth position with eight games lost. They share it with TTU/Kalev. Kalev/Cramo's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Tallinn to the arena TTU/Kalev.
