No shocking result in a game when seventh ranked Residence (8-8) beat 9th ranked BBC Nitia (2-14) in Bereldange 84-69 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Residence. BBC Nitia managed to win fourth quarter 24-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 17-of-19 free shots (89.5 percent) during the game. The winners were led by American forward Marcus Kennedy (193-84, college: Montevallo, agency: Interperformances) who scored that evening 25 points and 9 rebounds and international swingman Pitt Koster (178-89) supported him with 17 points and 6 rebounds. Four Residence players scored in double figures. Residence will meet higher ranked Amicale (#3) in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. BBC Nitia will play against Soleuvre (#8) in Belvaux and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
