Undefeated leader Ros Casares delivered the fifteenth consecutive victory on Saturday night. This time they crushed 11th ranked Cajarural (4-11) 84-57 in Valencia. The game was mostly controlled by Ros Casares. Cajarural managed to win third quarter 19-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Ros Casares dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Cajarural's 36. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by Cajarural's players. It was a great evening for the former international point guard Silvia Dominguez (167-87) who led her team to a victory scoring 7 points and 8 assists. Puerto Rican-Montenegrin swingman Eshaya Murphy (182-85, college: USC) helped adding 14 points. Ros Casares' coach Roberto Iniguez felt very confident using 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was American forward Bernice Mosby (186-84, college: Baylor) with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 10 rebounds and Finnish center Taru Tuukkanen (190-77, college: Xavier) scored 12 points and 5 rebounds. Ros Casares (15-0) have an impressive series of fifteen victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place with a perfect record of 15 victories in a row. Cajarural lost fourth consecutive game. Newly promoted team dropped to the ninth position with 11 games lost. They share it with 3 other teams. Ros Casares will meet bottom-ranked Ibiza (#14) on the road in the next round which should be another easy win for them. Cajarural will play against Cadi la Seu (#7) in Seu D'urgell and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
