Not a big story in a game in Arkadia where 15th ranked Periko/Arhelaos (5-10) was defeated by seventh ranked Arkadikos (8-7) 87-82. However just five-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Periko/Arhelaos won fourth quarter 31-29. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Arkadikos made 26-of-30 charity shots (86.7 percent) during the game. Arkadikos outrebounded Periko/Arhelaos 36-20 including a 15-3 advantage in offensive rebounds. 25 personal fouls committed by Periko/Arhelaos helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Arkadikos moved-up to sixth place, which they share with 4 other teams. Periko/Arhelaos lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the fourteenth position with ten games lost. Arkadikos' next round opponent will be higher ranked AEK (#3) in Athens and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Periko/Arhelaos will play on the road against the league's second-placed Apollon Patras (#2).
