Not a big story in a game when 13th ranked Cougars (3-10) were outscored by seventh ranked Spartans (8-6) in Regina, SK 104-68 on Saturday. The game without a history. Spartans led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Spartans forced 21 Cougars turnovers and outrebounded them 45-27 including a 29-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. They shot the lights out from three sinking 13 long-distance shots on high 59.1 percentage. Guard Calvin Westbrook (193-88, college: CS Stanislaus) orchestrated the victory by scoring 19 points.
