Important game to mention about took place in Treviso. Twelfth ranked Otto Caserta (8-9) saved a 2-point victory on the road edging 11th ranked Benetton Treviso (7-10) 73-71 on Saturday evening. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Benetton Treviso. The guests were ahead by 2 points but lost the second period ending it with a 1-point deficit before their 17-14 run, which allowed them to win the game. Benetton Treviso was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. American point guard Andre Collins (183-82, college: Loyola, MD) scored 21 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists to lead the charge for the winners and the other American import forward Andre Smith (203-85, college: N.Dakota St.) chipped in 15 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. Otto Caserta will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game.
