The most surprising game was a loss of top-ranked Tartu Ulikool (14-2) on the court of eighth ranked KK Parnu on Sunday night. Visitors were defeated by KK Parnu 99-93. It ended at the same time the six-game winning streak of Tartu Ulikool. The hosts trailed by 8 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 3-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 99-93. KK Parnu made 32-of-42 free shots (76.2 percent) during the game. KK Parnu outrebounded Tartu Ulikool 44-32 including 29 on the defensive glass. 32 personal fouls committed by Tartu Ulikool helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Center Toomas Raadik (202-90) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 29 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists. Swingman Rannar Raap (188-92) contributed with 25 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. KK Parnu (3-14) moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Valga/CKE. Tartu Ulikool at the other side still keeps top position with two games lost. KK Parnu is looking forward to face higher ranked BC Rakvere (#3) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Tartu Ulikool will play against BC Rakvere and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
