Another exciting game was a derby match between two teams from Doha: As Sadd (#5) and Al Jaysh (#4). As Sadd (2-1) won against visiting Al Jaysh (1-2) 75-69. It was a good game for Dibril Abdulla who led his team to a victory with 17 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. International swingman Abdulrahman Saad (192-85) contributed with 20 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. International power forward Ali Turki (201-82) answered with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 11 rebounds and Bakhra Ahmar added 21 points and 5 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) in the effort for Al Jaysh. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. As Sadd moved-up to third place, which they share with Al Arabi. Al Jaysh at the other side dropped to the fifth position with two games lost. They share it with Al Ahli. As Sadd will play against Al Wakrah (#7) on the road in the next round. Al Jaysh's supporters look forward to another derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Doha Qatar Sports Club.
