Regular Season Round 13: H.R. Le-Zion - Ramat Hasharon 77-73

The game between third ranked Ramat Hasharon (8-4) and ninth ranked Hapoel Rishon Le-Zion (4-8) was the most important one in the last round on Monday night. Ramat Hasharon was defeated by Hapoel Rishon Le-Zion in a tough game in Rishon Le-Zion 73-77. The hosts trailed by 14 points after first quarter, but they rallied back getting tie in the second period and winning the second half and won the game by 4 points. Hapoel Rishon Le-Zion made 24-of-27 free shots (88.9 percent) during the game. 24 personal fouls committed by Ramat Hasharon helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. American players dominated the game. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Jori Davis (175-89, college: Indiana, agency: Merit Sports) who helped to win the game recording 20 points and 7 rebounds (made all of her ten free throws !!!). Forward Victoria Dunlap (185-89, college: Kentucky) contributed with 15 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Forward Jessica Breland (190-88, college: N.Carolina) answered with a double-double by scoring 16 points, 12 rebounds and 4 blocks and forward Alysha Clark (178-87, college: Middle Tenn.St.) added 14 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Ramat Hasharon. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Hapoel Rishon Le-Zion moved-up to eighth place. Ramat Hasharon at the other side keeps the third position with four games lost. They share it with B.C. Habikaa. Hapoel Rishon Le-Zion are looking forward to face Elitzur Holon (#9) on the road in the next round. Ramat Hasharon will play against Bnot Hasharon (#7) in Hertzeliya and is hoping to win this game.
