Regular Season Round 7: Torus Skopje - OKK Beograd 75-70

We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams when 5th ranked Serbian OKK Beograd (2-5) was defeated on the road by sixth ranked FYR Macedonian Torus Skopje (2-5) 75-70 on Tuesday. OKK Beograd trailed by 11 points after 3 quarters before a 21-15 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 70-75 at the end of the game. American power forward Justin Reynolds (204-88, college: Texas A&M-CC) fired 15 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. FYR Macedonian-Bulgarian guard Dimitar Karadzovski (190-84, agency: Global Sports Plaza) chipped in 16 points and 6 assists. Center Nenad Misanovic (217-84) produced 18 points and swingman Dragan Mitrovic (200-85) added 6 points and 11 rebounds respectively for lost side. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Torus Skopje moved-up to fifth place in Group A, which they share with defeated OKK Beograd. Torus Skopje will face higher ranked Timisoara (#4) at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. OKK Beograd will play against the league's leader Galil Gilboa.
