The game in St.Catharines, ON supposed to be also quite interesting. Second ranked Golden Hawks (13-2) played at the court of 5th ranked Badgers (8-7). Golden Hawks smashed Badgers 89-55 on Wednesday. The game was mostly controlled by Golden Hawks. Badgers managed to win second period 13-11. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Badgers 56-38 including a 38-27 advantage in defensive rebounds. Forward Maxwell Allin (193) nailed 15 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists for the winning side and center Matthew Buckley (215) accounted for 12 points, 12 rebounds and 6 assists. Four Golden Hawks players scored in double figures. Guard Andrew Kraus (188-86) came up with 10 points and 9 rebounds and forward Andrew Ferguson (198-84) added 11 points and 7 rebounds respectively for Badgers in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Golden Hawks have a solid series of four victories in a row. They keep a position of league leader. Loser Badgers keep the fifth place with seven games lost. They share the position with Guelph. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
