Rather expected game in Lappeenranta where 8th ranked UU-Korihait (9-16) was defeated by sixth ranked LrNMKY (11-13) 77-72. The hosts were ahead by 5 points but lost the second period ending it with a 2-point deficit before their 27-20 run, which allowed them to win the game. LrNMKY made 16-of-20 charity shots (80.0 percent) during the game. Americans were the main players on the court. It was an exceptional evening for forward Tyler Tiedeman (201-85, college: Boise St., agency: Interperformances) who led the winners and scored 25 points and 6 assists. Forward Lawrence Hamm (198-84, college: Towson, agency: Court Side) accounted for 15 points and 11 rebounds for the winning side. LrNMKY's coach Lassi Tuovi allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game.
