LBL top team - Valmiera (11-7) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed eighth ranked Jurmala (4-13) 96-67. The game without a history. Valmiera led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 28-of-36 charity shots (77.8 percent) during the game, while Jurmala only scored seven points from the stripe. They outrebounded Jurmala 39-23 including 24 on the defensive glass. 29 personal fouls committed by Jurmala helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities.
