An interesting game for Redmen (5-4) which hosted in Montreal, QC second-best Citadines (5-5). Third ranked Redmen managed to get a 10-point victory 71-61. It was a key game for the second position in the league. The game was mostly controlled by Redmen. Citadines was better in third quarter 23-9. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Citadines to just 7 points in fourth quarter. Vincent Dufort stepped up and scored 14 points and 7 rebounds for the winners and forward Tristan Renaud-Tremblay (201) chipped in 11 points. The best for the losing side was forward Kevin Bitondo (196-87) with 13 points and 7 rebounds and guard Eric Cote-Kougnima (193-88) scored 11 points and 7 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Redmen moved-up to second place. Citadines at the other side dropped to the third position with five games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
