Very significant was Grodno-93's (#1, 13-1) victory against 3rd ranked Rubon (8-6) 83-67. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Rubon. The game was mostly controlled by Grodno-93. Rubon was better in third quarter 16-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 19-of-25 charity shots (76.0 percent) during the game. Ukrainian guard Stanislav Ovdeenko (192-84) notched 24 points and 8 rebounds to lead the effort and Ukrainian center Vadim Matyukevych (208-80) supported him with 15 points and 8 rebounds. Even 17 points and 6 rebounds by forward Dimitri Sivalko (199-85) did not help to save the game for Rubon. Power forward Pavel Karasevich (201-89) added 11 points and 8 rebounds for the guests. Four Rubon players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Grodno-93 (13-1) have an impressive 11-game winning streak. They maintain first position. Rubon at the other side keeps the third place with six games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
