Regular Season Round 19: Chalons-Reims - Quimper 85-55

The game between third ranked Chalons-Reims (13-6) and 17th ranked Quimper UJAP (4-15) in Reims on Friday ended with biggest points difference. Chalons-Reims outscored guests from Quimper 85-55. The game was mostly controlled by Chalons-Reims. Quimper UJAP was better in fourth quarter 14-12. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Quimper UJAP to just 7 points in second quarter. Chalons-Reims' coach Nikola Antic felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Aurelien Salmon (204-87) answered with 16 points and point guard Vincent Mouillard (187-87) added 9 points and 4 steals in the effort for Quimper UJAP. Chalons-Reims maintains third place with 13-6 record having just three points less than leader Boulazac, which they share with Fos Ouest. Quimper UJAP lost their eighth game in a row. They keep the seventeenth position with 15 games lost. Chalons-Reims will face Olympique Antibes (#14) on the road in the next round which should be another easy win for them. Quimper UJAP will play against JL Bourg.
