Bottom-ranked Sozh Gomel (0-12) is still winless. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their 12th consecutive match to sixth ranked SBK Osipovichi (5-9) 86-45 on Friday evening. The game without a history. SBK Osipovichi led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. SBK Osipovichi forced 26 Sozh Gomel turnovers. The best player for the winners was center Viachaslau Skidan (205-85) who scored 16 points and 9 rebounds. The former international center Yury Mishukov (205-85) chipped in a double-double by scoring 13 points and 10 rebounds. Five SBK Osipovichi players scored in double figures. Center Pavel Bliznets (205-94) produced a double-double by scoring 10 points and 18 rebounds and center Igor Drobyshevskiy (206-93) added 8 points and 11 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. SBK Osipovichi moved-up to fourth place, which they share with BGUIR-RTI. Loser Sozh Gomel still closes the standings with 12 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
