Regular Season Round 18: Orchy - Chartres 76-66

Everything went according to plan when sixth ranked Orchesien BC (12-6) defeated 12th ranked Chartres (8-10) in Orchies 76-66. The hosts were ahead by 5 points but lost the second period ending it with a 1-point deficit before their 23-12 run, which allowed them to win the game. Orchesien BC made 22-of-26 charity shots (84.6 percent) during the game. The best player for the winners was American guard Jahsha Bluntt (198-84, college: Delaware St., agency: David Lee services) who scored 14 points and 8 rebounds. Serbian forward Djordje Petrovic (202-84) chipped in 19 points. At the other side the best for losing team was Serbian center Ljubomir Avramovic (201-79) who recorded a double-double by scoring 20 points and 13 rebounds and naturalized Cameroonian forward Michel Ipouck (199-86) added 10 points and 5 rebounds respectively. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Orchesien BC have a solid four-game winning streak. They moved-up to third place, which they share with Blois and Souffel. Chartres lost fourth consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the twelfth position with ten games lost. Orchesien BC's next round opponent will be Etendard de Brest (#11) on the road and are hoping to win another game. Chartres will play against Cognac.
