Not a big story in a game when 12th ranked BG Lulea (1-15) was rolled over on the road by second ranked Taby Basket (13-3) 80-61 on Saturday. The hosts trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 8-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 80-61. Taby Basket dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to BG Lulea's 34. Taby Basket forced 22 BG Lulea turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of Frank Nordin who helped to win the game recording 24 points and 7 rebounds and guard Jimmy Lundin (184-90) who added 18 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. Four Taby Basket players scored in double figures. At the losing side forward Karl Ohrner (196-93) responded with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 10 rebounds and Hugo Stalbrost (-94) scored 9 points and 6 rebounds. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Taby Basket have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain second position in North with 13-3 record having just one points less than leader Eagles. Loser BG Lulea keeps the twelfth place with 15 games lost. Taby Basket will face LF Future (#3) in Lulea in the next round, which may be the game of the day.
