Regular Season Round 16: Sanda - Hogsbo 71-48

There was an upset in Huskvarna where higher ranked Hogsbo (5-11) was outplayed by eleventh ranked Sanda Basket (4-12) 71-48 on Saturday. The game without a history. Sanda Basket led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to Hogsbo's 24. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Johan Ganstrand (192-93) who helped to win the game recording 22 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists and guard Alexander Russom (191-95) who added 12 points during the contest. Sanda Basket's coach felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side Lucas Brehm (-91) responded with 17 points and Max Johansson scored 14 points. Sanda Basket moved-up to tenth place in South. Newly promoted Hogsbo dropped to the eighth position with 11 games lost. Sanda Basket will face IK Eos (#11) in Lund in the next round.
