No shocking result in a game in Kloszko where ninth ranked GTK Gliwice (8-9) defeated 11th ranked Nysa Klodzko (5-12) 65-61 on Saturday. The guests trailed by 1 point after three quarters before their 16-11 charge, which allowed them to win the game. The best player for the winners was forward Przemyslaw Malona (198-85) who scored 17 points and 8 rebounds. Guard Tomasz Wrobel (180-85) chipped in 10 points and 6 assists. GTK Gliwice's coach Jacek Adamczak used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. Center Jaroslaw Bartkowiak (202-85) produced a double-double by scoring 11 points and 17 rebounds and point guard Michal Lipinski (184-86) added 11 points, 5 rebounds, 9 assists and 4 steals respectively for the hosts. Five Nysa Klodzko players scored in double figures. GTK Gliwice moved-up to seventh place in Group B, which they share with HK Zory and AZS AGH Alstom. Loser Nysa Klodzko keeps the eleventh position with 12 games lost. GTK Gliwice will face UMKS Piotrc. (#14) in Piotrkow in the next round and are hoping to win another game.
