PLKK top team - Wisla Can-Pak (17-1) had no problems winning another game on Saturday. This time they crushed thirteenth ranked MUKS Poznan (3-15) in Krakow 95-60. The game without a history. Wisla Can-Pak led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 74 of its points in the paint compared to MUKS Poznan's 28. Wisla Can-Pak forced 24 MUKS Poznan turnovers and outrebounded them 39-24 including 26 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by MUKS Poznan's players. Montenegrin swingman Ana Dabovic (183-89) had a double-double by scoring 16 points, 11 rebounds, 6 assists and 5 steals to lead the charge for the winners and the former international center Magdalena Leciejewska (191-86) chipped in 16 points and 7 rebounds (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field) during the contest. Four Wisla Can-Pak players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was forward Agnieszka Makowska (182-82) with 13 points and 6 rebounds and guard Zaneta Durak (172-89) scored 14 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Wisla Can-Pak have an impressive five-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 17-1 record. Newly promoted MUKS Poznan keeps the thirteenth place with 15 games lost. Wisla Can-Pak are looking forward to face Lider Pruszkow (#9) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. MUKS Poznan will play against LKS Siemens (#7) in Lodz and is hoping to prove to their fans that the loss was just an accident.
