The game between closely ranked teams ended with 13th ranked Wesmen's (4-12) road loss to twelfth ranked Cougars (5-10) 72-79 on Saturday. The hosts trailed by 9 points after three quarters before their 25-9 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Cougars forced 19 Wesmen turnovers. The best player for the winners was Gradyn Childerhose who scored 14 points and 7 rebounds. Guard Brendan Hebert (180) chipped in 19 points. Cougars' coach James Hillis allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Forward Mark McNee (198) produced 21 points and 9 rebounds and American forward Benny Iko (198) added 11 points and 12 rebounds respectively for the guests. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Cougars moved-up to eleventh place. Wesmen lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the eighth position with 12 games lost.
