Regular Season Round 25: Denso Iris - Aishin AW 65-43

No shocking result in a game when third ranked Denso Iris (17-8) crushed bottom-ranked Aishin Wings (2-23) in Kariya 65-43 on Saturday. The game without a history. Denso Iris led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. International center Maki Takada (183-89) nailed 18 points and 8 rebounds for the winning side and forward Tamotsu Huziwara (175-87) accounted for 19 points and 6 rebounds. Forward Yuka Maeda (173-84) came up with 8 points and 6 rebounds and international swingman Tanaka Masaki (171-88) added 6 points and 7 rebounds respectively for Aishin Wings in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the fifth consecutive win for Denso Iris. They maintain third place with 17-8 record having five points less than leader JX Sunflowers. Aishin Wings lost their eighth game in a row. They stay dead last with 23 lost games. Denso Iris will again meet bottom-ranked Aishin Wings (#8) in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. Aishin Wings will have a break next round.
