Very predictable result in Saskatoon where sixth ranked Saskatchewan (10-5) smashed bottom-ranked Brandon (0-16) 77-47 on Saturday. The game without a history. Saskatchewan led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Saskatchewan forced 22 Brandon turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists comparing to just 2 passes made by Brandon's players. Forward Dalyce Emmerson (191) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds for the winners and guard Kabree Howard (165) chipped in 11 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Four Saskatchewan players scored in double figures. Saskatchewan's coach Lisa Thomaidis felt very confident using 10 players and allowed the starting five to rest. The best for the losing side was forward Aimee Johnston (185-93) with 13 points and 9 rebounds and forward Chantel Gaslard (188-91) scored 11 points and 5 rebounds. The victory was the sixth consecutive win for Saskatchewan. They moved-up to fifth place, which they share with UFV. Brandon lost their sixteenth game in a row. They still closes the standings with 16 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
