There was a change at the CIS leadership position after last games. Round 21 most important game was a defeat of league's leader Concordia (6-3). They were defeated by second ranked McGill (7-3) 61-50 on Saturday night. It was a key game for the top position in the league. The game was mostly controlled by McGill. Concordia managed to win second period 10-9. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Concordia 41-30 including a 31-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. Guard Francoise Charest (168) stepped up and scored 9 points and 8 rebounds for the winners and center Valerie L'Ecuyer (188) chipped in 12 points and 6 rebounds. McGill's coach Ryan Thorne used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
