Regular Season Round 21: Treviglio - FCM Ferentino 72-65

There was a minor upset when 3rd placed Ferentino (13-8) was defeated on the road by third ranked Treviglio (13-8) 72-65 on Sunday. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Ferentino won fourth quarter 21-18. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Treviglio forced 20 Ferentino turnovers. The best player for the winners was power forward Gabriele Zanella (204-81) who scored 18 points and 7 rebounds. Naturalized Argentinian swingman Augustin Fabi (199-91) chipped in 17 points and 5 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was forward Francesco Ihedioha (196-86) who recorded 10 points and 7 rebounds and guard Francesco Guarino (182-79) added 14 points respectively. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Treviglio moved-up to second place, which they share with Ferentino and Orlandina. Treviglio will face league's leader Chieti on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Ferentino will play against Casalpusterlengo and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
