Rather predictable result when twelfth ranked Qingdao Double Star (12-14) won against 15th ranked Bayi Fubang (7-17) in Ningbo 103-91 on Sunday. The guests trailed by 5 points at the halftime before their 56-39 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Qingdao Double Star dominated down low during the game scoring 74 of its points in the paint compared to Bayi Fubang's 54. It was a good game for American guard Lester Hudson (191-84, college: Tenn-Martin) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 32 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists. Forward Gen Li (196-88) contributed with 30 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. The former international center ZhiZhi Wang (214-77) answered with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 10 rebounds and the former international forward Lehei De (208-87) added 19 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Bayi Fubang. Four Bayi Fubang players scored in double figures. Bayi Fubang's coach Chang Bin Adijan rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Qingdao Double Star moved-up to eleventh place. Bayi Fubang lost their fourth game in a row. They keep the fifteenth position with 17 games lost. Qingdao Double Star will face higher ranked Zhejiang Cyclones (#9) in Hangzhou in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Bayi Fubang will play at home against Shandong Bulls (#13) in Jinan and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
