The most surprising game was a loss of top-ranked Trenkwalder RE (12-4) on the court of ninth ranked Tezenis Verona on Sunday night. Visitors were rolled over by Tezenis Verona 90-62. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Trenkwalder RE. The game without a history. Tezenis Verona led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 17-of-22 free shots (77.3 percent) during the game. Tezenis Verona outrebounded Trenkwalder RE 42-28 including a 32-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a good game for naturalized Argentinian guard Antonio Porta (188-83, agency: Players Group) who led his team to a victory with 17 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals. Serbian-Greek forward Dusan Vukcevic (201-75, agency: Interperformances) contributed with 20 points (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) for the winners. Four Tezenis Verona players scored in double figures. Tezenis Verona's coach Alberto Martelossi felt very confident that he used 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American guard Dawan Robinson (189-82, college: Rhode Island) replied with 16 points and 4 assists and his fellow American import guard Donell Taylor (198-82, college: UAB) added 14 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Trenkwalder RE.
