Rather predictable result in Limanowa where fifth ranked MKS Limbach (9-6) beat 8th ranked Wisla AWF Kr. (7-9) 86-74 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by MKS Limbach. Wisla AWF Kr. was better in second period 22-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The game was decided in the last minutes when MKS Limbach won last quarter 31-21. They made 20-of-25 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. They also forced 21 Wisla AWF Kr. turnovers. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when MKS Limbach made 7 blocks. The best player for the winners was point guard Piotr Kindlik (166-84) who had a double-double by scoring 22 points and 11 assists. point guard Wojciech Rykala (180-76) chipped in 20 points and 5 rebounds. Loser Wisla AWF Kr. keeps the eighth position with nine games lost. MKS Limbach will face Novum Lublin (#8) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Wisla AWF Kr. will play against Rosa II Radom.
