Not a big story in a game when 9th ranked Takamatsu FA (2-26) was rolled over at home by fifth ranked Toyama Grouses (13-13) 83-55 on Sunday. The guests trailed by 5 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 3-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 83-55. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Toyama Grouses made 10 blocks. Worth to mention a great performance of American swingman Brian Harper (206-85, college: Paine, agency: Pro One Sports) who helped to win the game recording 21 points and 7 rebounds and Masashi Joho (183-82) who added 16 points, 9 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals during the contest. Four Toyama Grouses players scored in double figures. American forward Michael Nunnally (203-86, college: Pacific) responded with 14 points and 8 rebounds and his fellow American import forward Kevin Smith (195-89, college: Richmond) scored 4 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists.
