Regular Season Round 21: NSH GMC Riau - Pacific Caesar 62-67

Rather expected game when 11th ranked NSH GMC Riau (1-12) was defeated at home by ninth ranked Pacific Caesar (4-9) 67-62. It looked good early as NSH GMC Riau took an 1-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Pacific Caesar had a 24-15 second period charge getting the lead and NSH GMC Riau was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 62-67. Pacific Caesar forced 24 NSH GMC Riau turnovers. Strangely NSH GMC Riau outrebounded Pacific Caesar 48-34 including 36 on the defensive glass. They brought some defensive toughness making 9 blocks. Center Eko Sasmito (188-85) nailed a double-double by scoring 23 points and 14 rebounds for the winning side and forward Gege Nagata (185-88) accounted for 20 points and 5 rebounds. Center Max Yanto (215-83) came up with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 12 rebounds and Ryan Febriyan (194-87) added 10 points and 10 rebounds respectively for NSH GMC Riau in the defeat. NSH GMC Riau's coach Tri Adnyanaadi tried various players' combinations and tested in total twelve players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game.
