An interesting game for Tartu Ulikool (15-2) which hosted in Tartu 3rd ranked BC Rakvere (12-5). First ranked Tartu Ulikool managed to get a 11-point victory 82-71. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of BC Rakvere. The game without a history. Tartu Ulikool led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. BC Rakvere was plagued by 28 personal fouls down the stretch. The former international center Vallo Allingu (206-78) had a double-double by scoring 15 points and 11 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and the former international swingman Marek Doronin (200-83) chipped in 13 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. Five Tartu Ulikool players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was Latvian center Kaspars Cipruss (210-82, agency: Interperformances) with 28 points and 9 rebounds and the former international center Viljar Veski (215-86) scored 15 points. Tartu Ulikool maintains first position with 15-2 record. BC Rakvere at the other side keeps the third place with five games lost. Tartu Ulikool will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. BC Rakvere will play at home against Rapla and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
