There was a minor upset in Ningbo where 13th ranked Shandong Bulls (11-16) were crushed by fifteenth ranked Bayi Fubang (8-17) 107-87 on Wednesday. The game without a history. Bayi Fubang led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Bayi Fubang forced 28 Shandong Bulls turnovers. Shandong Bulls were plagued by 36 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international center ZhiZhi Wang (214-77) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 30 points and 10 rebounds and international swingman Bo Zhang (199-89) who added 19 points during the contest. Five Bayi Fubang players scored in double figures. At the losing side American swingman Alan Anderson (198-82, college: Michigan St., agency: Priority Sports) responded with 21 points and Liberian-American forward Othello Hunter (203-86, college: Ohio St., agency: David Lee services) scored 15 points and 8 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Bayi Fubang maintains fifteenth position with 8-17 record. Loser Shandong Bulls keep the thirteenth place with 16 games lost. Bayi Fubang will face bottom-ranked Foshan (#17) on the road in the next round.
