Bottom-ranked Energy Invest is still unable to win any game. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their 11th consecutive match to fourth ranked Sokhumi (7-4) 74-61 on Friday evening. The guests trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 7-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 74-61. Sokhumi outrebounded Energy Invest 46-25 including a 20-7 advantage in offensive rebounds. The winners were led by international guard Lasha Parghalava (191-87, college: Montana St. - Billin, agency: Alti Sport) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 18 points, 12 rebounds and 6 assists and forward Tato Chachibaia (201-90) supported him with 16 points and 9 rebounds. Four Sokhumi players scored in double figures. Even 23 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists by Cameroonian forward Talba Toudjani (201-80) did not help to save the game for Energy Invest. Guard Luka Khmelidze (195-92) added 14 points and 6 rebounds. Sokhumi maintains fourth position with 7-4 record, which they share with MIA Academy. Loser Energy Invest still closes the standings with 11 games lost. Sokhumi's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Tbilisi to the arena Samedicino-Academia.
