Regular Season Round 25: RMC - Queen's 43-84

Important to mention another loss for outsider RMC, who are unable to win a single game so far. This time they lost in a game in Kingston, ON versus seventh ranked Golden Gaels 84-43. The game without a history. Golden Gaels led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding RMC to just 5 points in first quarter. Golden Gaels dominated down low during the game scoring 66 of its points in the paint compared to RMC's 24. They outrebounded RMC 44-25 including a 19-8 advantage in offensive rebounds. Golden Gaels looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists comparing to just 8 passes made by RMC's players. Forward Alex Weatherill (196) nailed 16 points (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winning side and forward Matthew Baker (193) accounted for 13 points and 5 rebounds. Four Golden Gaels players scored in double figures. Golden Gaels' coach Stephan Barrie felt very confident that he used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. Guard Connor Duke (191) came up with 12 points and 6 rebounds and Alexandre Lavoie added 11 points and 5 rebounds respectively for RMC in the defeat. Golden Gaels maintains seventh place with 1-16 record. It was RMC's seventeenth loss in a row. They still closes the standings with 17 games lost. Golden Gaels will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game.
