Regular Season Round 23: Bishop's - McGill 55-63

Everything went according to plan in Sherbrooke where first ranked McGill (8-3) won against 3rd placed Bishop's (5-5) 63-55 on Friday. Bishop's trailed by 13 points after 3 quarters before a 18-13 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 55-63 at the end of the game. McGill dominated on the defensive end, holding Bishop's to just 6 points in third quarter. They also forced 19 Bishop's turnovers. The best player for the winners was Panamanian forward Anneth Him-Lazarenko (178) who had a double-double by scoring 18 points and 12 rebounds. point guard Dianna Ros (170) chipped in 9 points. McGill's coach Ryan Thorne used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. Argentinian-Israeli power forward Eloisa Katz (182-91) produced 14 points and 5 rebounds and guard Jessica Roy (173) added 8 points respectively for the hosts. McGill have an impressive series of six victories in a row. They maintain first place with 8-3 record. Loser Bishop's keep the third position with five games lost. McGill will face Laval (#4) in Quebec City in the next round.
