Leader Okinawa GK recorded the twentieth third victory. This time they crushed 9th ranked Takamatsu FA (2-27) 88-58. The game was mostly controlled by Okinawa GK. Takamatsu FA was better in third quarter 19-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Takamatsu FA to just 6 points in first quarter. They outrebounded Takamatsu FA 51-38 including a 36-25 advantage in defensive rebounds. American center Dillion Sneed (203-84, college: E.Tenn.St.) nailed a double-double by scoring 13 points and 15 rebounds for the winning side and his fellow American import Anthony McHenry (202-83, college: Georgia Tech) accounted for 15 points and 11 rebounds. Four Okinawa GK players scored in double figures. American forward Kevin Smith (195-89, college: Richmond) came up with 15 points and 7 rebounds and STVn center Nyika Williams (203-87, college: Pacific) added 9 points and 10 rebounds respectively for Takamatsu FA in the defeat. Takamatsu FA's coach gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. The victory was the third consecutive win for Okinawa GK. They maintain first place with 23-6 record. Takamatsu FA at the other side keeps the ninth position with 27 games lost. Okinawa GK's next round opponent will be again Takamatsu FA (#9) at home and are hoping to win another game.
