The game in Anjo was also quite interesting. Sixth ranked Chanson V-M (10-17) played at the court of 8th ranked Aishin Wings (2-25). Chanson V-M defeated Aishin Wings 60-50 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Chanson V-M. Aishin Wings managed to win second period 11-4. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was a great evening for forward Sanae Motokawa (175-92) who led her team to a victory scoring 12 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. International swingman Saori Fujiyoshi (178-87) helped adding 14 points and 9 rebounds. The best for the losing side was power forward Shiyu Sato (178-87) with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 11 rebounds and guard Hitomi Takasaki (168-86) scored 9 points and 6 rebounds. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Chanson V-M maintains sixth place with 10-17 record. Aishin Wings lost tenth consecutive game. They stay dead last with 25 lost games. Chanson V-M will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Aishin Wings will play again against Chanson V-M (#6) in Shizuoka and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
