There was no surprise in Guelph, ON where 6th ranked Gryphons (8-10) were defeated by fourth ranked Lancers (12-6) 78-72 on Saturday. Gryphons trailed by 12 points after 3 quarters before a 25-19 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 72-78 at the end of the game. Lancers dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Gryphons' 30. Lancers forced 19 Gryphons turnovers. Forward Jahmal McQueen (201-89) had a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and guard Enrico Diloreto (186-90) chipped in 15 points and 6 assists during the contest.
