We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams in Waterloo, ON where second-ranked Golden Hawks (15-3) were defeated by third ranked Marauders (13-5) 92-82 on Saturday. The guests trailed by 8 points after first quarter, but they rallied back getting tie in the second period and winning the second half and won the game by 10 points. Adam Presutti scored 26 points and 8 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and guard Victor Raso (193) chipped in 19 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. Four Marauders players scored in double figures. Forward Maxwell Allin (193) responded with a double-double by scoring 23 points, 12 rebounds and 6 assists and international forward Kale Harrison (196) scored 27 points and 8 rebounds. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Marauders have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain third position with 13-5 record having just -1 point less than leader Lakehead. Loser Golden Hawks keep the second place with three games lost. Marauders will face Mustangs (#7) in London, ON in the next round. Golden Hawks will play at home against Gryphons (#6) in Guelph, ON.
