Another exciting game was again a derby match of two local teams from Doha: Al Ahli (#6) and Qatar Sports Club (#8). Qatar Sports Club was crushed at home by 17 points 62-79 and even the advantage of their own court did not help. Al Ahli looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. Nigerian center Augustine Okosun (210-86, college: Northwood Fl.) fired a double-double by scoring 31 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. Gambian forward Mahamoud Jabbi (200-87, college: Binghamton) chipped in a double-double by scoring 20 points, 12 rebounds and 8 assists. Four Al Ahli players scored in double figures. Senegalese Oumar Seck produced a double-double by scoring 26 points, 16 rebounds and 7 assists and Nigerian forward Michael Okoro (206-89, agency: Court Side) added 19 points and 9 rebounds respectively for lost side. Al Ahli maintains sixth place with 2-5 record. Qatar Sports Club lost their seventh game in a row. They still closes the standings with seven games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
