Very expected game when 17th ranked Quimper UJAP (4-16) was defeated at home by eleventh ranked JL Bourg (10-10) 83-78 on Saturday. Quimper UJAP was tied after three quarters but could not keep up in the last quarter eventually losing the game. JL Bourg made 19-of-23 free shots (82.6 percent) during the game. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Jamelle Cornley (196-87, college: Penn St.) who helped to win the game recording 27 points and 7 rebounds and Senegalese power forward Ousmane Barro (207-84, college: Marquette) who added 17 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. American guard Adam McCoy (195-86, college: N.Texas) responded with 17 points and 7 rebounds and power forward Gregory Lessort (197-85) produced a double-double by scoring 12 points and 13 rebounds. Five Quimper UJAP players scored in double figures. JL Bourg moved-up to eighth place, which they share with St Vallier and Boulogne. Quimper UJAP lost ninth consecutive game. They keep the seventeenth position with 16 games lost. JL Bourg will face Saint Vallier (#8) at home in the next round. Quimper UJAP will play against Le Portel (#13).
