An interesting game for Slask II W. (15-3) which hosted in Wroclaw 4th ranked AZS AWF K-ce (12-6). First ranked Slask II W. managed to get a 6-point victory 82-76. The hosts started the game with a very strong first quarter 25-15. But AZS AWF K-ce won second period 21-17. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Slask II W. forced 21 AZS AWF K-ce turnovers and outrebounded them 36-24 including 23 on the defensive glass. They brought some defensive toughness making 19 blocks. The former international forward Radoslaw Hyzy (203-77) had a double-double by scoring 22 points, 12 rebounds and 6 blocks to lead the charge for the winners and guard Rafal Glapinski (183-82) chipped in 18 points and 4 steals (perfect from the field making all six shots) during the contest. The best for the losing side was forward Tomasz Milewski (202-78) with 17 points, 8 rebounds and 5 blocks and guard Mateusz Dziemba (194-92) scored 16 points. Five AZS AWF K-ce players scored in double figures. AZS AWF K-ce's coach Miroslaw Stawowski tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Slask II W. have a solid four-game winning streak. Newly promoted Slask II W. maintains first position in Group B with 15-3 record. AZS AWF K-ce at the other side keeps the fourth place with six games lost. They share the position with WKK Obiekty. Slask II W. will play against HK Zory (#9) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. AZS AWF K-ce will play against Alba Chorzow (#6) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
