Everything went according to plan when top-ranked Regina (17-0) defeated at home 4th ranked Alberta (11-7) 84-70 on Saturday. The hosts trailed by 1 point after three quarters before their 29-14 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Regina made 23-of-27 free shots (85.2 percent) during the game. They also forced 26 Alberta turnovers. It was a good game for American guard Michelle Clarke (173-88, college: Purdue) who led her team to a victory with 23 points.
