Very predictable result in Loganholme where second ranked Bulleen Boomers (14-5) edged 7th ranked Logan Thunder (10-9) 83-80 on Sunday. The guests trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 5-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 83-80. Bulleen Boomers outrebounded Logan Thunder 43-31 including 30 on the defensive glass. The former international center Liz Cambage (203-91) fired a double-double by scoring 34 points (!!!) and 14 rebounds for the winners. International guard Rachel Jarry (185-91) chipped in 18 points and 5 assists. International center Cayla Francis (192-89) produced a double-double by scoring 22 points and 13 rebounds and the former international guard Renae Camino (177-86) added 17 points and 4 assists respectively for lost side. Logan Thunder's coach tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Defending champion maintains second position with 14-5 record having four points less than leader Adelaide. Logan Thunder lost third consecutive game.
