Regular Season Round 15: Lucca - Priolo 73-53

Very expected game when 10th ranked Priolo (4-10) was crushed on the road by fifth ranked Lucca (10-5) 73-53. The game without a history. Lucca led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. It was an exceptional evening for Slovakian center Marie Ruzickova (189-86, agency: LBM Management) who led the winners and scored 22 points and 8 rebounds (on 9-of-10 shooting from the field). Portuguese forward Mery Andrade (181-75, college: ODU) accounted for 10 points and 10 rebounds for the winning side. Five Lucca players scored in double figures. Serbian swingman Tanja Cirov (181-81) came up with 11 points and 6 rebounds and Belgian swingman Romina Ciappina (180-88) added 12 points respectively for Priolo in the defeat. Lucca moved-up to fourth place. Priolo at the other side keeps the tenth position with ten games lost. Lucca will play against bottom-ranked Alcamo (#12) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Priolo will play against Umbertide and hopes to get back on the winning track.
